I have heard of demonic possession but what about alien possession, could alien beings possess human beings?

Most people would say no to this question. However, I have personally talked to some people, who firmly believe that not only is this possible, but that a race of reptilian aliens is currently controlling the world politically.
Below is some links that I am sure you will find interesting to see. One is a video of an interview in the UK who says he has done research in 14 different countries to conclude that these aliens have taken over the major political powers in the US as well as the royal family. He connects the Illuminati with the reptilian aliens as well to say that they are aiming for world fascism.
Another link from Wikipedia shows pictures and talks about how this phenomen has roots all over the world and throughout history.
And lastly a link by someone that goes into descriptions of the reptilian personality - how to identify one etc.
Are they right - is this true?? That is something that would be almost impossible to proove simply by the nature of the question. Its reasonable to assume that the likes of George Bush or the Royal Family would not succumb to any kind of scientific tests of this nature. Some people would jump on this and conclude that they MUST be aliens or else they would have agreed to the tests. Kinda like the old fashioned witch trials.
So ultimately I think its a topic that each person will form an opinion on based on their own belief systems. But one thing is for sure - there is lots of entertaining reading on the subject available.

Well..I guess that wouldn't be possession exactly...maybe "identity theft" is more what it is. Or, like a "doppleganger"...to be like the person..but not the person themselves.

I think if they are such geniuses that they can get to Earth from wherever they came from...they can do just about
anything. I would think they'd have to be in their spiritual form
though to be able to do this. I really do believe that they would be able to put thoughts into people's heads through telepathy..(and the person might think these thoughts are their own) So..to me, that's a kind/type of possession. (I also believe that brain washing is a type of possession...controlling a person's life and thoughts.)

Interesting question.
Two assumptions have to be made. One, that there are aliens with the desire to do this. And that there is some means to control a complex biological organism such as a human with such fine control that the other humans don't notice.
While I don't think either assumption can be ruled out, I think it's safe to say that both are tall orders. So we can't rule out aliens with the means and motivation to possess humans, but it does seem unlikely.
Another hurdle is that one has to assume the aliens even have a means to get to Earth, and again, from our current vantage point, seems unlikely unless said aliens by some unlikely event are very near by.
Then one has to ask, is there any evidence for same? And to be honest, while there certainly are times and places where a human may have acted possessed, they all have more prosaic and likely explanations than alien possession. IE no such possessed human has ever come up with truly "alien" information. There's some hints, I'll grant that, and I'm glad folks are looking into it, but empirically no proof yet.
So basically we have a really unlikely event combined with very sketchy evidence at best. While we cannot rule out alien possession, it seems so unlikely at this juncture that I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
And frankly, why would they bother? A truly advanced alien civilization could build simulacrum humans without the risks and ethical issues involved in possessing actual humans. We're getting close to having the technology ourselves. That's what I think one should keep an eye out for. :)

There could be nothing like aliens possessing humans.
The point is that if there be any aliens present then they too will be nothing but made of the same organic matter.
They would not be having any supernatural powers.Only they may be more powerful or more technically advanced. But aliens possessing humans does not look sensible...

I suppose if the alien beings had mind control powers. But are you asking if dead alien spirits can control living humans? Hmmm... why not? I've worked on cases where I've determined that even leprechauns have the power to possess individuals and cause them to do things they wouldn't normally do (spontaneous recurrent Irish jigs, boozing, gold hoarding). If leprechauns, why not dead aliens?

Demonic possession is by non-physical forms. Aliens, if they exist, appear to have a physical form. One physical form cannot enter another, but a non-physical form can enter an existing physical form.
